Hi Ganesh, it is quite mild up there just now and there is only snow on the tops.
If you are going in from Glen Nevis you will have a couple of rivers to cross with the Abhainn Rath being the serious one, it can be tricky in very wet weather so watch the weather forecasts for the area, a much nicer walk in is to get the train from Corrour station and walk in from there, the distance is about the same but you will only have bogs and drains to get wet in, you can also get to Spean Bridge with dry feet if you want, that is a longer walk though.

Hi GAZNI, I've stashed what's left to come out on the window sill for you, if you want to park up by the "Minister" and walk up from there.

I have burned and "removed" a large amount of rubbish from Meanach, the bothy is much tidier than when Kev visited it.

My Guess is that might be the best fire to have been in the left hand room since the WP in 2012. A grate blaze in one of Harrys fire baskets made by a fire log, 5k of coal, half a fence post, some other wood found by the river and all the Shite left by other users.

Shite was also found and burned

What do you mean "stashed" Kev?
Where have you put them.

GAZNI, every generation has to be educated, there is no other way.
I think I should write this up for the newsletter, it was a good trip up North.

Thanks, Gus. We took your advice. Bothy in good shape. Curious why no ladder to the top floor, whereas there is one at Staoineag bothy?

The upstairs should be sealed off, it has been "desecrated" and burned. Staoinaig has stairs.

After getting snowed off on my first attempt, I eventually made it up on Monday afternoon in glorious weather.
The window frames were treated and filled, two of the doors that were sticking were filed down to allow them to open and close easier, however I ran out of wood filler and time or I would have done more.
